Position Objective:

The Project Manager of the US Unit is ultimately responsible for driving revenue growth and business profitability within the U.S. market. The primary mission of this role is to lead, align, and audit the entire value chain from lead generation and sales conversion (Mid-Market and Lower-Mid-Market) to flawless operational execution and the long-term retention of Virtual Assistants (VAs) ensuring that client and VA retention rates exceed the optimal benchmark of 18 months.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial and operational performance of the US Unit, ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and achievement of business goals.
  • Oversee sales strategies, lead follow-up, and client acquisition efforts for the U.S. market, ensuring competitive and client-focused proposals.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to strengthen lead generation, conversion strategies, and positioning of Virtual Assistant services in target industries.
  • Ensure operational excellence by supervising onboarding processes, service delivery, client satisfaction, and long-term retention of both clients and Virtual Assistants (VAs).
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts to maintain a strong pipeline of qualified bilingual candidates across LATAM and ensure timely staffing coverage.
  • Monitor key operational and commercial metrics through dashboards, weekly follow-up meetings, and reporting to executive leadership.
  • Serve as escalation point for key client accounts and drive continuous improvement initiatives across sales, operations, recruitment, and matching processes.

Required Profile

1. Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, International Relations, Project Management, or related fields.
  • Master’s degree or specialization in Commercial Management or Project Management is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience leading commercial operations, project management functions, or business units within service companies, B2B technology firms, agencies, or similar industries.

2. Industry & Market Experience

  • Proven experience working with or leading teams focused on the U.S. market is required.
  • Previous experience managing Staff Augmentation, Outsourcing, or Virtual Assistant (VA) agency models is highly valued.

3. Language Requirements

  • English: Advanced level / C1-C2 (full professional fluency required for negotiations, conflict resolution, and communication with Mid-Market corporate clients in the U.S.).
  • Spanish: Native or advanced proficiency to effectively lead internal LATAM-based teams.

4. Technical Skills & Tools

  • Strong knowledge of CRM platforms such as Odoo.
  • Experience using project management tools including Asana, ClickUp, Trello, or Monday.com.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
